Hey! We're Mantel Mood.

Mantel Mood is a decor site for people who think beige is a choice, not a rule. We share colorful, personal and affordable ways to make a home feel lived-in and loved: seasonal makeovers, paint ideas, thrift flips and practical fixes.

The crew

Tessa Kowalski — Color obsessive. Has painted her front door six times.

Dev Malhotra — Weekend DIYer and thrift-store regular.

How we work

We test projects ourselves whenever possible and always tell you what something costs. Mantel Mood is supported by ads; sponsors never decide what we write.
